The Perfect Concert Outfit for 4 Michigan Concert Venues

Is there anything better than seeing one of your favorite bands or artists play live? Here at Venue, we definitely appreciate a good concert, and even better, a good concert outfit. So, here are four outfit inspiration pics: one for each of the major concert venues in Michigan.

1. Ford Field

For a big stadium show, you might want something a little dressier, but with a bit of an edge. This tank and skirt combo is the perfect option. The black and white ensemble is classy yet comfy enough to dance all night in. And FYI, Luke Bryan will be visiting Ford Field on 10/25 for his Sunset Repeat tour, if you’re in the mood for some country music.

You can’t go wrong with this look. Pick up the She + Sky Striped Tank for $28, and the Free People White Pencil Skirt for $68 to look great at your next concert!

2. Meadow Brook Amphitheatre

Perhaps you’re going to a slightly smaller show outdoors, and want something a little more girly or bohemian. We’ve got you covered! This blue floral dress has some super cute details, such as ruffles and a fun zig-zag tie in the front, making sure to catch everyone’s eye. It’s also nice and cool, so you won’t be dying if you’re out in the sun for a while. Catch Rob Thomas at the Amphitheatre on 8/27 with his Chip Tooth tour, or the B-52’s on 9/14, who will be celebrating their 40th anniversary.

3. Little Caesars Area

You can’t go wrong with a classic band tee and a fun pair of jeans, and an indoor venue like the Little Caesars Arena is the perfect venue to wear this look. Pairing a neutral tee with a colored pair of jeans in a nice reversal of the usual blue jeans + tee combo, and what better place to have a little fun with your fashion than a concert? Catch John Mayer’s summer tour on 8/2 at LCA, or wait until 9/7 to see the Jonas Brothers make their return to the stage with their Happiness Begins tour.

Patiently waiting for the next Panic! at the Disco tour. In the meantime, rock the Panic! Star Tee for $28 and a pair of Liverpool Penny Ankle Rouge Jeans for $89.

4. DTE Energy Music Theater

Even though it will always be Pine Knob to us, we still love this fun outdoor theater. This is another place where a light outfit is key since you’ll be sitting out in the sun for the show. This dress is so airy and free that you’ll be able to dance the night away without getting uncomfortable. Not to mention, the vertical stripes make it super flattering on any body type. Wear this number to go see Hootie & the Blowfish on 8/16 for their Group Therapy tour, or save it for a Kid Rock show, who will be at DTE on 9/6, 9/7, 9/13, and 9/14.

The thin material on this dress makes it very breathable: perfect for an outdoor concert. The Sanctuary Soft Shirt Dress sells at Venue for $129
